Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Minimum of eight (8) years of experience working at a law firm or general counsel’s office. Proven expertise in conflicts and new client intake processes. Strong knowledge of legal ethics, risk management principles, law firm operations, and regulatory compliance. Excellent research and legal writing skills, including experience drafting complex legal documents. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent professional judgment and discretion, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships with colleagues and clients. Preferred Qualifications Admission to the state bar of Virginia. Responsibilities Provide legal support and guidance to the firm’s conflicts and new client intake team. Collaborate with firm leadership and practice group leaders to uphold the highest standards of legal and ethical conduct. Assist the General Counsel in managing internal legal matters and advising on risk management strategies. Provide counsel on issues involving professional responsibility, conflicts of interest, and confidentiality. Draft and review firm-related contracts and agreements. Assist in developing and implementing firm policies and training programs related to legal risk, compliance, and ethics. Conduct or support internal investigations as needed. All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
