Weber Gallagher has an immediate opening for an Associate Attorney to join the General Liability and Workers’ Compensation groups in our New Castle, DE office. The individual will be responsible for handling a wide range of general liability, defense litigation matters and workers' compensation matters. Responsibilities: Analyze complex legal and factual issues and conduct well-reasoned legal research. Draft pleadings, answer written discovery, take depositions, and participate in arbitrations and trials. Communicate with clients, the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel while adhering to all deadlines. Ability to travel for court, client meetings, etc. Ability to work on-site in New Castle, DE in a hybrid capacity. Requirements: 5+ years of experience, preferably in general liability defense litigation and/or workers’ compensation. J.D. from an accredited law school. DE active and good standing bar license, required. Strong research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated interest in liability defense.
