Duties: Assists with taking complex cases from inception through trial. Analyzes documents. Summarizes deposition transcripts. Prepares, reviews, and drafts standard correspondence and other legal documents. Maintains attorney calendars, including coordination of depositions, hearings and appointments. Handles court filings. Reads and sorts incoming mail, as well as profiles scanned mail, faxes, hand-deliveries and outgoing mail. Opens files, requests conflict of interest checks and prepares new matter reports/retainer letters. Pulls cases from legal database per the attorney’s request. Prepares index for files to be closed. Prepares documents to produce in electronic document database format. Processes and uploads documents into electronic document review platforms. Maintains and organizes document production into electronic document database for review and organization of case. Prepares demonstrative exhibits, timelines and charts for attorneys’ use in court. Prepares trial materials and presentations of exhibits for use in court. Qualifications: At least 3 years of relevant experience. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
