Family Law Associate

Gates Shields Ferguson Swall Hammond, P.A., is seeking a full-time Family Law Associate to join our firm in our Liberty, Missouri office. We are seeking a candidate with: A sense of compassion and empathy for clients experiencing family conflict Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Excellent organization and legal writing skills The associate will be expected to: Work directly with clients Prepare pleadings and legal documents Conduct investigations through discovery and other means Communicate clearly with clients, courts, and opposing counsel Help achieve fair, appropriate outcomes for clients and their families Manage case deadlines and documentation efficiently Qualifications: Juris Doctor degree Licensed to practice law in Missouri and Kansas and in good standing At least one year of family law experience What We Offer: Gates Shields Ferguson Swall Hammond provides a competitive salary based on experience and education.
