General Description: We are seeking a Legal Department Administrative Operations Supervisor to join the team. The Legal Department Administrative Operations (LDAO) Supervisor supports the LDAO Manager and other members of the Legal Department in administering various policies, programs, and processes. This role requires independent judgment, initiative, and collaboration on both departmental and firmwide projects that align with strategic goals. Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions: Collaborate with LDAO leadership, cross-functional teams, and senior stakeholders to further develop, implement, and maintain the firm's Transition Partner-Departing Attorney (Offboarding) program and Audit Response Letters (ARL) program. Coordinates onboarding, training, and development for the LDAO Analyst(s), LDAO Specialists, and the Audit Client Requests (financial audit reports) team. Provides ongoing coaching, feedback and performance updates to team members and supports the delivery of formal performance reviews. Participates in candidate Interviews and provides hiring recommendations to the LDAO Manager. Improve cross-departmental workflows and troubleshoot issues; review, recommend, and implement process and technology enhancements, including improvements to legal reports and dashboards (e.g., ServiceNow). Work with project managers to ensure project scope, milestones, and deadlines are met. Conduct and coordinate research to support LDAO department planning and objectives. Expected to maintain a regular and predictable work schedule and full attention to and engagement in work activities on behalf of the firm during business hours unless otherwise approved or required by applicable law. Special projects and duties as assigned. Required Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to organize, facilitate, and lead meetings. Strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Exceptional analytical and negotiation skills. High ethical standards and professional integrity. Independent judgment and autonomy in decision-making. Ability to exercise discretion in escalating and communicating issues. Willingness and ability to learn and expand skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite or Microsoft 365, iManage, ServiceNow, MS Teams, and Aderant. Required Qualifications & Education: Bachelor’s degree required. 4+ years of experience in an analyst role or in a comparable role.
