The Role Norton Rose Fulbright is expanding its Knowledge Management (KM) team and hiring Knowledge Lawyers for our Corporate M&A and Disputes practices. These lawyers manage the development and access to core practice content, contribute to firm publications and training, and partner with attorneys to improve access to resources and workflow tools. This position reports to the Director of Knowledge & Research Services and collaborates with various stakeholders to enhance practice group KM, focusing on technology-enabled efficiency and client service. The ideal candidate will have practiced law for 5+ years in mid-to-large law firms. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Knowledge and know-how management: Create, develop, and maintain practice resources, ensure data accuracy, monitor workflows, evaluate and update processes, and facilitate knowledge sharing among attorneys. Knowledge strategy and lawyer education: Assess and address practice group knowledge needs, promote internal databases, identify new KM tools, and provide training on KM resources and practices. Industry research and thought leadership: Serve as a legal and market expertise resource, monitor legal developments, contribute to publications, and identify topics for thought leadership. Client support and business development: Support business initiatives, contribute to pitches and RFPs. Other duties: Duties may evolve; flexibility is expected. Qualifications and experience J.D., admitted in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, with 5+ years of relevant experience in mid-to-large law firms. Motivated, strategic, and knowledgeable of current legal trends and innovations. Proficient in legal research, drafting, and content creation, with strong communication skills. Experienced in designing and delivering training programs. Organized with excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities. Team player with high energy, creativity, and discretion. Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, legal research tools, and KM software. Willing to travel occasionally. Compensation ranges between $215,000 and $250,000 in major markets, with benefits including health insurance, 401(k), paid parental leave, and holidays.
