Position Summary The Business Development team supports the firm across a broad spectrum of new business and client relationship-building activities, including the creation of new business proposals and firm marketing materials, upkeep of the databases that track firm experience and client information, competitive and market intelligence, and coordination of client events. The Senior Coordinator for Business Development will work closely with Business Development Managers, partners and other lawyers to develop and implement business and client development initiatives for the firm’s Finance practice. The role supports and manages client pitches, RFPs, presentations, events, sponsorships, legal rankings and league table submissions, and other profile‑raising activities for the practice. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Lead the strategic preparation and coordination of targeted client presentations, pitch materials, and RFP responses Draft, coordinate, and submit legal directory and awards submissions for key industry guides (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500, IFLR) Assist with league table submissions and contribute to improving data mining, accuracy, and efficiency of data collection processes Manage and maintain print and digital marketing materials to ensure content accurately reflects the practice’s substantive strengths, experience, and current activities Maintain and update matter and experience databases for precedent, marketing, and business development purposes Monitor and evaluate business development initiatives and market activity within the Finance space Prepare and maintain competitive and market analysis, including research on clients, prospects, and competitors; leverage industry research platforms and news sources (e.g., S&P Capital IQ, LSEG, Bloomberg, KBRA DLD, PitchBook) to track trends, transactions, and client developments Support the planning and execution of select conferences, sponsorships, client events, and industry galas Collaborate with Public Relations and Marketing teams to promote the Finance practice internally and externally Qualifications/Position Requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels, including partners and senior stakeholders Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and disciplined approach to processes and quality control Demonstrated accountability and ownership of assigned
