Associate Attorney

Gorlick, Kravitz & Listhaus, P.C. is seeking an associate attorney for its volume legal services practice. We provide legal representation in matrimonial and family law matters, including custody, visitation, child and spousal support, paternity, orders of protection and divorce; landlord tenant matters, including nonpayment and eviction proceedings; residential real estate matters; immigration matters; and individual bankruptcy matters. Candidates must: have a minimum of two years of immigration law experience; be admitted in New York and admitted or awaiting admission in New Jersey; demonstrate strong verbal and written communication with both clients and courts; possess good organizational, research and writing skills necessary in a volume practice; be reliable and have excellent attention to detail; and have the ability work independently but be a part of a team of experienced attorneys. Position entails: handling court appearances; drafting USCIS applications; meeting with clients; handling cases from inception to conclusion; and helping clients understand their rights and outcomes. Spanish fluency a plus. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
